Hello boys and girls! 😀
How are you? I hope you have energy to learn!
Today we are going to work on our oral skills and for that, we are doing a dictation. Don't worry, you can go at your own rhythm and the machine will correct it for you when you finish.
You just have to click here, press the start button, then play the audio and start writing what you hear.
Try to do your best and see you in class!
Olga
P.S. Remember to have fun!
Good morning Olga,
ReplyDeleteI really liked the dictation. I think it is a great idea in order to practice writing and listening. On the other hand, I found it complicated to follow. I mean, if I have done this activity I will put for example: "You have to listen to the dictation 3 times", for example.
I also enjoyed using this tool. It's great to create activities like that.
Thank you :)
Roger Bascompte.
Hello Olga, I like this activity, when you use the rutine of a child for the dictation they feel a connection and they are more relaxed when they are doing the activity. Moreover, I like the design of your blog, the colors are friendly and the links are very clear too. I like the picture of the child that was chosen.
ReplyDeleteGood job!!
Nacho Reguera.
Good afternoon Olga,
ReplyDeleteDictation is usually considered as a boring activity by kids. However, this activity sounds great and interesting because they can work at their own pace. The only thing I would change is, as Roger says, I would include some more specific instructions such as how many times they have to listen to it. Does this make sense? Hope this helps.
Regards,
Sara
Dear Olga, I think it is a very good idea to implement the use of ICT tools, for activities that we could call traditional, such as dictations, since students gain motivation when doing them.
ReplyDeleteThose are activities that could be boring for them to do, but they are still important, so giving them a twist like you have done, I think it's very cool.
